I'm thrilled to announce that Studio DiPaolo is making arrangements for a partnership with the Emily Marie Bivens Memorial Foundation to grant one-year scholarship opportunities for current, former, or prospective members of Studio DiPaolo with financial need. This scholarship generally seeks out precollege-age students, but I've inquired about possible funding for older students with demonstrated financial need as well.
The Emily Marie Bivens Memorial Foundation, established in memory of a talented pianist and teacher whose life was cut short, selects and awards one-year studio tuition scholarships to students with financial need who are seeking private instruction, currently with a piano/violin/cello focus, but expanding into studios that offer theory and composition as well. In addition, if needed, the Foundation will furnish a keyboard for each selected student. A direct link to the music scholarship information page of the foundation website is https://embmfoundation.org/music-scholarship/ - there is a button to access the form, when applications are open, on that page. To my knowledge, this scholarship is specific to students residing in the United States, although I'm happy to inquire if you are outside the US and otherwise believe your situation may be a good fit for the scholarship.
